The EPC maintains a resident database, collected by a semi-annual opt-in email. The database is privacy protected and is accessible only with EPC permisssion. The relevant contact and family data can is used in case of a community wide emergency. The EPC produces an extensive emergency preparedness manual for all residents, accessible online at www.santaluzepc.com. The EPC provides opportunities for all residents to self-educate themselves to prepare for emergencies, including guidelines for evacuation, home preparedness, sheler in place and additional scenarios. Lists of resources as well as in person demonstarations are provided.
The primary mission of the SantaluzEPC is to assist Santaluz residents in their emergency preparedness planning so that we may all become more knowledgeable and physically prepared ahead of disasters.
The SantaluzEPC is funded by the Santaluz Maintenance Association (SMA) which is funded by your monthly HOA dues.
The SantaluzEPC is operated by the SantaluzEPC committee which is comprised of volunteers within the Santaluz community.

Residents often move within Santaluz, change their email address and/or their telelphone numbers.Sending the emails out and asking you to verify the information is the only way we have of keeping the information current within our database. We do not have access to any othe Santaluz database not do we share our infomraiton.
SantaluzEPC drills are performed 2 times a year. In addition to these drills, several texting/radio communication drills are also performed yearly.

Twice per year, the volunteers of the SantaluzEPC give santaluz residents an opportunity to verify/update their emergency household information. This information will be kept confidential and used to notify our santaluz residents via sms message of actual or impending emergencies affecting the santaluz community.
